A Yanmar 2GM inboard diesel engine is maintaining an onboard lifeline for Hannah White as she embarks on a brand new season of racing and record setting. Hannah’s first record attempt will be to set the single-handed world record for the Fastnet route, in her Open 40 sailboat, ‘White Spirit’. The route will take Hannah from Cowes on the Isle of Wight, along the south coast, up past the Scilly’s to Fastnet rock off the South Western tip of Ireland and back to Plymouth.
